Flushing begins in Plattsville and Embro tomorrow.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's spring which means it's that time of year again for watermain flushing.
The County is reminding us when watermains are flushed, you are more than likely to experience discoloured water or sediment. They say to set aside tap water to use, avoiding any discoloured water in your pipes.
When the flushing is complete, run your taps for three to five minutes on cold. If you still see discoloured water, run your tap again for 10 minutes until your water is clear.
Plattsville and Embro are set for flushing on Tuesday April 2nd, while Bright, Mount Elgin, and Beachville are being treated later this week. Flushing will continue the following week in Norwich and Tavistock.
To find out more information about when flushing will happen in your community, you can visit the county's website online here.
