Road conditions continue to deteriorate across Oxford County this afternoon as the region gets blasted with snow.
When you see snow, go slow!
That is the message from the OPP today as the region continues to get blasted by mother nature. Environment Canada is predicting we will have about 15 centimetres of snowball by the end of the day.
Motorists are being reminded to slow down and drive to the conditions. Winter driving requires the full attention of every motorist. Proper pre-trip planning and vehicle inspections will make for a much safer trip. Always exercise caution when driving in the winter. Constable Ed Sanchuk says all collisions are preventable, even in bad weather.
"Be alert and aware of your surroundings at all times. Predictable is preventable, make safety your priority."
