WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are reminding the public to not submit information about police investigations through social media.
Woodstock Police social media accounts are not monitored 24/7, so if you were to leave a tip for them through Facebook or Twitter, it might not be received right away.
If you have information for police there are many ways you can report:
1. ONLINE: visit www.woodstockpolice.ca and select ONLINE REPORTING under the Community Services tab.
2. CALL: dial 519-537-2323 to reach our Communications Centre to provide police information or report an issue.
3. CRIME STOPPERS ONLINE: visit www.oxfordcrimestoppers.com and click the "Online Tips" button in the top right corner to submit a tip about crime anonymously online.
4. CALL CRIME STOPPERS: call 519-421-TIPS (8477) to anonymously provide information and possibly earn a cash reward up to $2000.
