Why Not Us Woodstock is hosting two events on November 10th to help fund their new state of the art outdoor basketball facility.
WOODSTOCK - Why Not Us Woodstock is hosting their 3rd annual Champagne Pop Up Party Fundraiser.
All of the money raised will go towards the Kendall Courts project, building more basketball courts in Woodstock. Duane Kumala-Thomas says the pop up party at the Goff Hall on November 10th will be a lot of fun.
"For the party we got DJ Flash, who is going to be DJing all night, we have D.Eve who is just finishing a European tour, she is going to be coming down and doing a live performance, we are going to have a champagne hour, so we will be giving out free champagne, everybody get's a glass, it's just going to be a blast.
You can find out how to buy tickets to the party online here, they are also available at Highlander Studios, SNAPD or from any of the Why Not Us crew. Tickets cost $25.00 and you the party runs from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Why Not Us has been fundraising for the outdoor basketball facility for about four years now. The state of the art courts will a pavilion that can block the elements like rain and sun. They also plan to use snap court flooring which is better on your joints and your knees so you have prolonged life in playing basketball.
They are also hosting a vendor Fair on November 10th at the Goff Hall. You can sign up to be vendor for $30 with the proceeds going towards the Kendall Courts Project.
The vendor fair runs from 9 am to 2:00 p.m at the Goff Hall, just in time for holiday shopping.
