Strong defense leads Cats in Whitby tournament
The Woodstock Wildcats Girls Pee-Wee "B" team captured a gold medal over the weekend in Whitby.
They won gold in the "Whitby Wolves Tournament of Heroes", which is dedicated to our 158 fallen troops and their families.
The Wildcats went 3-1 in the tournament, beating the Lakeshore Lightning 3-0 in the semi-finals.
In the gold medal game, the Wildcats shut out the Whitby Wolves 1-0 in a tight contest.
