Stiff southwesterly winds will make for "difficult driving conditions," Environment Canada says.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Oxford County and most of Southern Ontario due to stiff winds.
The weather agency says the gusts in Oxford and most other areas are expected to register as high as 70 kilomtres per hour.
"These winds are strong enough to result in difficult driving conditions especially for motorists on highways subject to strong and gusty cross winds," Environment Canada said in the weather statement.
The winds are forecasted to diminish Saturday evening.
