We could get about 5 centimetres of heavy snowfall today.
OXFORD COUNTY - The winter weather returns to Oxford County today.
Environment Canada says we could get about five centimetres of snow today. It could also be quite heavy at times, with peak snowfall rates between two and three centimetres per hour. The snow should start this morning and end sometime this afternoon.
Environment Canada is also predicting wind gusts up to 70 kilometres per hour for tonight.
This means the roads could become quite messy out there and it could be hard to see at times. Please make sure you slow down and drive according to the conditions if you have to go anywhere.
A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for our area.
