The U15 Boys Woodstock Wolverines have some bragging rights after their recent home win in the Ontario Football League Semi-Finals.
WOODSTOCK - With a work ethic far beyond their years, the Woodstock Wolverines U15 Boys Football team is looking to go all the way this season.
The team is gearing up for the Ontario Football League Championship.
The Wolverines remain undefeated after beating a strong team from North Bay, 66-21 in the Ontario Football League Semi-finals at home this past Saturday.
Head Coach Chris Camboia says the team was well supported.
"The atmosphere at the game on the weekend was really electric with that home field advantage. If any one is willing to support those guys and pat them on the back, it means a lot to kids with a 10-0 record, they still have some work to be done. These are true leaders and we really appreciate the support from everyone in Woodstock."
Despite the team having some bragging rights, Camboia says the guys are well prepared and focused as they head to the Championships.
"They are a really hungry group, and literally work so hard on giving massive effort each and every time. Our approach is to focus on effort not outcome."
The team is inviting fans to show their support as they take on Guelph in the finals on August 5th at 11:00 a.m. Tim Hortons Field.
