Police say they are investigating an attempted murder and kidnapping that started in Windsor and ended in Oxford County.
Police say they are investigating an attempted murder and kidnapping that started in Windsor before the victim escaped near Ingersoll.
It began in Windsor on Tuesday July 12 when the woman was kidnapped by a man she knew and taken out of the city.
When she escaped from the vehicle just off the 401 near Ingersoll the police were called. The suspect was then arrested at a truck stop in Woodstock with the help of the OPP and the Woodstock Police in the early hours of July 13th.
The 42 year old man has been arrested and is facing charges of attempted murder, forcible confinement, kidnapping, and assault with a weapon, along with several others.
