"I can't really speak to what those items are because it is part of an ongoing active investigation by the Woodstock Police Department."
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual general meeting today.
They introduced their new General Manager Kim Whitehead, and the new board of directors. The Chamber also went over their 2016 financial statements. One item that really stuck out was over $30,068 in extraordinary expenses from the first half of 2016. President Paul Chamber explains.
"Those are expenses that we cannot find or allocate or have any sort of accurate record of, retaining to the chamber and that is why it gets stuck as an extraordinary loss item."
Chambers says he can't speak to what those items are at this time.
"I can't really speak to what those items are because it is part of an ongoing active investigation by the Woodstock Police Department."
Last September it was announced that former Woodstock Chamber of Commerce General Manager Martha Dennis was being investigated for fraud.
