Woodstock City Council has released their expenses for 2016 and it looks like they are going to be under budget.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council has released their expenses for 2016.
The top spender so far is Mayor Trevor Birtch. He has just over $7,000 in expenses which is about $400 more than what was budgeted for in 2016. One of the reasons the Mayor's expense budget is higher is because he is expected to attend more meetings and conferences.
Councillors have a budget of over $3,000 for expenses and all of them have come in way under. The highest councillor on the list was Connie Lauder who has claimed $1,340 dollars so far this year. After Lauder the next highest expenses from a councillor is Shawn Shapton at $266. The lowest spending councillor so far in 2016 is Jerry Acchione at $169.
