Woodstock Ford will be hosting a Drive4UR campaign to benefit the Oxford Children's Aid Society on June 4th.
WOODSTOCK - The Children's Aid Society is teaming up with Woodstock Ford to raise money for the Endowment Fund.
The Drive 4UR Community event is taking place June 4th from 9am until 3pm at the CAS Building (721 Peel Street, Woodstock)
Ron Archer with the Children's Aid Society Oxford says every test drive helps.
"Ford Canada gives us $20 for everyone that takes a test drive. If we can get over 300 people out there, Ford will give us $6,000."
Archer says even if you can't drive there will be a barbeque and kid friendly events as well.
"Friendly the Giant tiger is going to be there and Handy Andy from Home Hardware in Ingersoll will be there. Santa will be there and I think Spider Man is going to pop in."
Archer says they have raised $190,000 for the fund so far and looks forward to raising more.
"The endowment fund is for kids that are aging out and kids camps. So, it goes to post secondary education. This year we gave nine bursaries away that came out of that fund. The larger we can make the fund the more we can do with it."
