A collision in Norwich Township leads to charges of a Woodstock man.
WOODSTOCK/NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A collision at Firehall Road and Highway 59 results in charges.
Yesterday, the Woodstock Police were patrolling the Mill Street area when they saw a motorcycle travelling at a high rate of speed. Officers then located the same bike a short time later as it was involved in a collision in Norwich Township, causing the road to be closed for the investigation.
The driver and passenger of the bike were taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation led to a 41-year-old Woodstock man being charged with possession of property obtained by crime (stolen licence plate), careless driving, operating a motor vehicle on a highway without insurance, using a plate not authorized for the vehicle, and operating a vehicle with a suspended permit.
The Woodstock Police are asking anyone with information about this investigation to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
