WPS briefs include a dangerous driver and an impaired driver.
WOODSTOCK - A 27-year-old has been charged with dangerously operating a dirt bike in the Friendly City
Woodstock Police spotted it in the downtown area at around 3:10 p.m. on Friday and on Pittock Park Road that same day. They say the driver was known to police for dangerous driving behaviour and took off when the officers tried to pull him over for doing just that.
He was eventually charged with dangerous operation and flight from a peace officer.

WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after a vehicle hit a fence in Woodstock.
Police say it was in area of Norwich Ave and Alice Street at around 11:40 p.m. on Friday.
The vehicle was still running when officers arrived on scene and found someone unconscious in the drivers seat. He was tested for impairment once he woke up.
He failed those tests, so Woodstock Police charged the 20-year-old with one count of operation while impaired and one count of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
His drivers licence was suspended and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
