Woodstock Police arrested one suspect and another is outstanding after locating two stolen vehicles on Friday afternoon, meanwhile three people were arrested inside a stolen vehicle on Wednesday.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have arrested one person and another is still outstanding after locating two stolen vehicles on Friday afternoon.
Officers stopped a stolen GMC Canyon pulling a stolen Dodge Ram pickup truck on Beachville Road around 2:00 pm. The driver of the Canyon was able to break free and fled north on Ingersoll Road, leaving the Dodge Ram inoperable.
The driver of the Dodge Ram immediately exited the vehicle and after a brief foot pursuit he was arrested by police. A 44 year-old male from Woodstock was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.00. He was further arrested by police on an outstanding warrant of arrest. Police did not release his name.
Police are still attempting to locate the stolen 2007 white GMC Canyon. The driver of that vehicle is still unknown. An investigation is ongoing.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police arrested three people inside a stolen vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers spotted a stolen 2016 Toyota Rav on Main Street around 2:00 pm. Police continued to follow the vehicle as it turned onto Dundas Street and entered the drive thru lanes of McDonald’s.
The three occupants, a 38 year old Woodstock female, a 21 year-old male of Kitchener, and a 27 year-old male from Ingersoll have been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Police did not release any names.
The vehicle had been reported stolen earlier to the Woodstock Police Service on January 16, 2020.
