Briefs include several car thefts throughout Woodstock, a break and enter at a home on Edinburgh Drive and a man caught sleeping inside of a home on George Street.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police responded to several reports of vehicles being stolen over the past week in the city.
Police responded to a report on Tuesday about a 2007 ¾ ton GMC Sierra grey diesel pickup truck that was stolen from a business parking lot in the area of Winniett Street and Buller Street over the last weekend.
The following evening, a black and silver 2004 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 pickup was stolen from a business located on Keyes Drive. Police say there is a suspect vehicle involved, described as a light-coloured, four-door car that was last seen travelling west on Juliana Drive.
Police received a report on Thursday about a stolen trailer from a business on Parkinson Road. They say the suspects stole the trailer from the lot over the past couple of days and it is described as a grey, 6 X 12 taper nose trailer.
Police also received a report that same day about a dark grey, 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe that had been stolen from home on Parkinson Road. The car came with a chrome bumper step attached to the hitch.

WOODSTOCK - Police are investigating after a break and enter occurred at a home on Edinburgh Drive.
They say the incident happened on February 26th when unknown suspects had got into the home between the hours of 3:30 pm and 6:20 pm and stole several clothes valued at approximately $1,400.00. The house was locked at the time, according to police.
Police say the suspects may have broken into a vehicle on the driveway last week, stealing a set of keys that belonged to the home.

WOODSTOCK - A man was caught sleeping on the kitchen floor at a home on George Street.
Police say the 60 year-old homeowner walked into their kitchen on February 25th and found a strange man laying on his kitchen floor. The man had woke up and he was removed from the house by the owner.
The man is described as 6’1” with a grey goatee and was wearing a light-coloured jacket and grey or beige knitted toque. He immediately left the area before police arrived.
Police say the homeowner believed the man was intoxicated at the time.
