Briefs include a robbery on Windemere Street, a teen who was arrested twice in two hours, just after the ball dropped on the New Year and a shoplifter busted on NYE.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police responded to an attempted robbery in the area of Windemere Street on New years Day.
A 19 year old from Baden was arrested around 10:50 pm and charged with robbery using a firearm and pointing a firearm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The gun in question, turned out to be fake.

WOODSTOCK - A 35 year old man from Woodstock was charged with shoplifting on New Years Eve.
The man was caught after leaving a grocery store with a cart of unpaid items.

WOODSTOCK - A 19 year old teen was arrested for public intoxication, just after the ball dropped on New Years Day.
Police first came into contact with the teen just after midnight. They were responding to complaints about a man who was screaming and in possible distress in the area of Argyle Street Park.
Officers arrested the teen and took him home to sober up. About 2 hours later, police were called to the home for reports of a fight. The 19 year old was arrested again, as was a 20 year old at the home.
WOODSTOCK - Two bicycles were stolen from a home on Shenstone Avenue in Woodstock.
Police say the theft happened on Saturday.
