Woodstock Police were kept busy over the long weekend. Between Friday and Sunday, police received 24 separate reports of windows being broken on vehicles in the areas of Warwick St., Clarke St., Sloane St., Finkle St., Ingersoll Rd., Oxford St., Springbank Ave., Edgewood Dr., Devonshire Ave., Lansdowne Ave., Wellington St., Algonquin Rd., Riddell St., Light St., Maud St., and James St. Police say in addition to the vehicle damages, 3 bus shelters were damaged on Nellis St., Lakeview, and Juliana Drive. As well, a residence on Sydenham St. and another on Wellington St. had the front windows of their homes smashed. Police are continuing to investigate the matter but say the damages have been caused by a bb gun.
