The Special Investigations Unit has determined that the officer committed criminal offences in relation to an incident involving the officer’s cruiser and a cyclist.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid against a Woodstock police officer.
The Special Investigations Unit has determined that Constable Pritpal Thind has committed criminal offences in relation to an incident involving the officer’s cruiser and a cyclist.
As a result, Director of the SIU Joseph Martino has caused charges of dangerous driving causing bodily harm and criminal negligence causing bodily harm to be laid against Thind.
Constable Thind is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at 415 Hunter Street on September 27.
