Woodstock Police were able to arrest a 33 year old man from Woodstock and recover a stolen vehicle after getting some help from ONSTAR.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police were able to track down a stolen vehicle thanks to ONSTAR.
Officers were notified by ONSTAR on Wednesday morning about a stolen vehicle parked in the area of Mohican Drive and Chieftain Street. Around 1:30 p.m., police observed a man enter the vehicle. They then contacted ONSTAR who disabled the vehicle and police arrested the man.
The 33 year old from Woodstock was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of methamphetamine.
Police did not release the man's name.
