A 25 year old Tillsonburg resident is lucky to be alive after being cut out of her vehicle following an early morning collision
WOODSTOCK - Shortly after 5:30am Tuesday morning Woodstock Police were notified of a vehicle that struck a hydro pole.
After travelling at a high rate of speed a 25 year old Tillsonburg resident was heading southbound on Cedar St. approaching Norwich Ave.when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve striking a hydro pole. Woodstock Police along with EMS, and the Fire Department responded where the driver had to be cut from the vehicle, and transported to Woodstock General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The female driver has been charged with careless driving pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act. The Woodstock Police Service are asking for anyone to come forward who may have witnessed the collision.
