Twenty teams from all over Ontario will be in Oxford county for the OFSAA basketball tournament
OXFORD COUNTY - The boy's high school basketball season is coming to an end.
OFSAA will be coming to Oxford County starting next Monday, and it will be the best teams coming to battle for the championship. Convenor, Eric Molinaro says how many teams will be at the tournament.
"So, we have 20 teams from all over Ontario coming in the 'A' classification for schools. There are 18 different regions."
Molinaro says there will be teams from Ottawa, Toronto, Gravenhurst, and across the province coming to play in the three day tournament. He also mentions multiple schools will be stepping up to help host this event.
"Yeah, we've got St. Marys as our main gym, then College Avenue. Then of course our double dome at Woodstock Collegiate, and then Notre Dame is giving us a hand and helping out with a few games on day 1."
If you want to watch the games, you can buy a tournament pass for $20 or a day pass for $10, if you are a student a tournament pass is $10, while the day pass costs $5.
