The Woodstock Warriors U-14 Volleyball team is heading to Nationals in Ottawa next week.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Warriors U-14 girls volleyball team are heading to the East Nationals.
They will take on some of the top teams in the country after qualifying at the Ontario Championships last week. Woodstock will be in the Division 1 Nationals and will take on 32 other teams in Ottawa from May 4-7th. Coach Jody Timphany tells Heart FM the girls are really excited to compete on a national level.
"The girls are looking forward to it, they have improved dramitically compared to last year, we weren't totally healthy at Provincials and hopefully we will be at Nationals, it will be a big help for us if we can be totally healthy."
The Woodstock Warriors are currently the 13th ranked team in Ontario out of 124 teams. The Warriors have 14 players on their roster, with most of the girls coming from Woodstock. Here is the complete list of the team roster.
