Heart FM took to the streets of Woodstock to get your reaction on the Pan Am Games.
TORONTO - Hundreds of athletes have descended on to Toronto from 23 different countries to attempt to claim a medal at the Pan Am Games. As the event enters its final week the pressure has increased for those remaining to compete before the games end on Sunday. While many have been diligently following the progress of local athletes, many have not and Heart FM asked citizens of Woodstock their feelings on the games. With the majority of people not watching on TV, many have been checking the medal count online to find Canada in 2nd with nearly 160 medals well ahead of third place Brazil, but slipping farther away from the United States who are currently in the lead. The Parapan Am Games are set to commence at the beginning on the 7th of August and run until the 15th making this one of the biggest sporting events the country has ever seen.
