WPS were responding to several tips about areas with a lot of speeders yesterday and handed out 9 tickets, including one person who was going almost twice the speed limit.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police handed out 9 speeding tickets yesterday.
On Tuesday they posted a message on Facebook about speeding and certain hot spots they were concerned about. The public then mentioned several more so the traffic unit got to work yesterday.
They were set up at various locations after getting tips or complaints from the public including Oxford Road 4 at Devonshire and Dundas.
9 tickets were issued in this area and the top speed captured on radar was 113 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
