WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police will be opening their doors to the public starting on Monday March 1st.
The service had been closed during the lockdown and stay at home orders, starting on December 26th. The public can attend the headquarters between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday.
They will have several health and safety measures in place and you will need to wear a mask. The measures include screening questions before you can enter. The doors to the building will remain locked. There is a yellow emergency phone outside of the front doors to contact the Communications Center in the event of an emergency.
WPS is asking everyone to consider the following alternatives to attending in person:
- Call the non-emergent phone line (519-537-2323) for general inquiries or police assistance.
- Complete police record checks online.
- Complete police reports for theft and mischief/damage online if possible.
