Woodstock Police have taken three people into custody and are searching for another after an assault in the City.
UPDATE 3 - The fourth suspect involved in an assault and robbery has been arrested.
The incident took place on February 27th, and yesterday, the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad located and took the suspect at large into custody. The suspect was found in Burlington, and during the search, a large amount of suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine was discovered, and had an estimated street value of over $9,600.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, a 38-year-old Woodstock woman has been charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement, armed robbery, possession of a Schedule I substance to traffic - fentanyl, and possession of a Schedule I substance to traffic - methamphetamine.
She was held in custody for a bail hearing.

UPDATE 2 - Woodstock Police Officers responded to a residence on Pavey Street after reports of a man being assaulted and robbed of personal items.
The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and is now in a London hospital for treatment. It is being said that 4 people attacked the victim and used a weapon during the assault. Three of the 4 suspects have been arrested, and the 4th is still on the loose.
As a precaution, schools in the area were placed on hold and secured, which was lifted without incident. The investigation remains ongoing, and if you have any information, please call Woodstock Police.
At this time there is no ongoing threat to the public's safety.

WOODSTOCK - A heavy police presence will be seen in Woodstock.
The Woodstock Police Service is on Pavey Street between Fyfe Ave and Norwich Avenue. Both pedestrians and vehicles are being asked to avoid the area.
