Oxford County teens between the ages of 16 and 18 have until Friday March 15th to apply for the Youth Citizen Police Academy.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's a great opportunity for aspiring young police officers in Oxford County.
Constable Randi Crawford, the Communications Officer for Oxford OPP, posted a video on the OPP West Region X page earlier this week, to encourage local teens to apply for the Youth Citizen Police Academy.
"It's starting Wednesday April 17th and running until Wednesday May 29th. The application deadline is Friday March 15th, so just at the end of your March Break."
You have to live in an area that's policed by the Oxford County OPP to apply, and you have to be between the ages of 16 and 18.
Those looking for more information can reach out to Crawford by calling the Oxford OPP detachments in Tillsonburg or Ingersoll. You can also send her an e-mail at randi.crawford@opp.ca.
@OxfordOPP is receiving applications for the Youth Citizen Police Academy. You can apply if you are between the ages of 16-18 and reside in @OxfordCounty. If you are unable to attend the detachment for an application contact randi.crawford@opp.ca to request one.^rc pic.twitter.com/fBYhGNQW9i
