Police are searching for a suspect after someone tried to rob a gas station in Tavistock Friday night.
TAVISTOCK - Police are searching for a suspect after an attempted robbery occurred in Tavistock yesterday evening.
Officers say a masked man had entered the Shell gas station on Woodstock Street North at around 8:30pm. He demanded money from an employee, but fled on foot when another customer parked in the parking lot.
Nothing was stolen but police are searching for a male whose about 25-35 years old, about 5'10" tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black hood style skull mask, a grey sweat shirt, black sweat pants, black gloves and dark coloured shoes.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.
