Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock is hoping to have the Force on their side for their annual Bowl For Kids Sake coming up in May.
WOODSTOCK - Bowl For Kids Sake is coming up next May in Woodstock.
All of the money raised will go towards Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock and District and Woodstock. Case Worker and Fundraising and Marketing assistant Kristen Ralph tells Heart FM they do have an early bird draw if you sign up by tomorrow.
"We do have an early bird draw, so if you register your team by this Friday, that's April 1st, you get entered to win coffee and donuts from Tim Horton's that we will bring to your workplace."
Bowl for Kids sake is happening on May 4th, 6th and 7th this year and because of the May 4th date they are going to do a Star Wars theme this year.
"Due to the date change we decided May the 4th be with you was the perfect theme for Bowl for Kids Sake this year. With all the hype of the new Star Wars movie this year we are hoping that people will come out and dress as their favourite Star Wars character."
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tillsonburg, Ingersoll and District are also doing Bowl for Kids Sakes this year, and we will have that story coming up in the near future. If you would like to register for the Woodstock event you can do so online at their web site. You can also pick up the sheets at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office or by calling Kristen at 519-537-6404 or email her at kristen.ralph@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca and they will come and deliver the sign up sheets right to your door.
