OXFORD COUNTY - The month of November was positive for Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors.
A total of 175 units were sold last month, an increase of 59 percent from November of last year. Home sales were 15 percent above the 5-year average, and just about 9.5 percent above the 10-year average.
In the first 11 months of the year on a year-to-date basis, over 1,850 units have been sold. This is up 9 percent from the same period in 2023.
The average price of homes sold last month was $663,726, an increase of just under 9.5 percent from last year. There was a very large gain in the dollar value of all home sales from last month, as the total was $116.2 million, eclipsing the same month last year by almost 74 percent.
