$36,000 was raised at the annual Lights & Sirens Charity Ball that was held back in November.
WOODSTOCK - The annual Lights and Sirens Charity Ball was another huge success.
Last week, committee members presented cheques to Oxford-Elgin Child & Youth and the Salvation Army Wellness Program, with both organizations receiving $15,000 from the funds raised at the event that was held back on November 8th.
The Alzheimer's Society of Oxford, Christmas Place, D.A.S.O. (Domestic Abuse Services Oxford) and Ingamo Homes each received $1,500 from the committee as well.
$36,000 in total was raised through ticket sales, an on-line auction and live auction. All of the funds raised at the annual charity ball are donated to local organizations that assist those in need and the less fortunate in the Woodstock and Oxford County community.
