Bell Media is selling 45 regional radio stations and cutting 4,800 positions including journalists.
CANADA - Another big shakeup for Bell Media.
Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE) has announced that it's cutting nine percent of its Bell Media workforce, which works out to about 4,800 positions including journalists.
It's selling 45 of its 103 regional radio stations in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, and Atlantic Canada. The Canadian Press has provided a list of all of the stations that have been sold, with their new owners listed in brackets:

Bell officials have stated that the business is not viable anymore, blaming Ottawa for taking too long to provide relief for media companies and the CRTC for being too slow to react to the crisis.
Bell Media also sold nine radio stations last spring and cut six percent of its workforce.
