Perth County OPP are investigating the death of a 22 month old boy in the community of Atwood.
ATWOOD - Perth County OPP have launched an investigation into the death of a toddler from the community of Atwood.
Police were called to a home on Main Street early Monday morning after getting a report of a 22 month old boy being seriously injured. The child was rushed to the Listowel Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police have identified the toddler as Owen Befurt. A post mortem was conducted on Monday in London and an investigation into the death is ongoing. Perth County OPP say they will release more information as it becomes available.
