Elizabeth Wettlaufer had her judicial pretrial delayed until April 7th this morning.
WOODSTOCK - The woman from Woodstock facing 8 counts of first degree murder made a very brief court appearance this morning.
Elizabeth Wettlaufer appeared inside the Woodstock Courtroom via a video conference for about 45 seconds today. She was supposed to be in court for a judicial pretrial, however the defence in the case announced they would be getting more disclosure on March 30th and asked for the hearing to be stayed until April 7th.
Wettlaufer is facing 8 counts of first degree murder, four counts of attempted murder and 2 counts of aggravated assault. The alleged aggravated assaults and two of the attempted murders happened at the Carressant Care in Woodstock where she is accused of killing 7 people.
Wettlaufers charges date back to 2007 and the most recent case happening in August of 2016. The following are the 8 people she is accused of killing at nursing homes in Woodstock and London.
