Woodstock Begins Leaf Collection Program

Curbside leaf collection starts today in the City of Woodstock.

WOODSTOCK - Crews will be on the streets of Woodstock collecting loose leaves.

The collection program kicks off today and will take place until Thursday, November 30th. Residents will be able to rake leaves from their lawns to the curb and have them collected.

There will be nine zones, which are going to be rotated through.

The City is asking for patience from residents if they choose to use the curbside loose leaf collection program. Crews will be out and it is weather dependent.

The weather must be cold enough for all the leaves to fall during our eight-week program, but warm enough that it does not snow or freeze the piles which can impact our efforts.

If it snows during the curbside loose leaf collection program, the main priority for the City is winter control operations. There is not enough staff or equipment to operate both programs.

You can find other information regarding the loose-leaf collection program online here.
