The Brant County OPP caught a speeding driver on the 403 westbound.
BRANT COUNTY - The need for speed has landed a Woodstock resident in trouble.
The Brant County OPP pulled over a vehicle this morning at 3:10 a.m. on the 403 westbound, west of Jerseyville Road, after noticing it was travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was caught going 170 km/h in a 110 zone.
As a result, the 43-year-old has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed, and Speeding - 50 km/h over the posted speed of 110 km/h Zone.
The driver is also facing a 30-day licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment. The driver will also have a court date next month in Brantford to answer to the charges.
