Three kids between the ages of 2 and 9, their father and a horse were injured after a crash between a van and a horse and buggy in Zorra Township this morning.
UPDATE - The road will be opened in the next hour. The kids and the adult were taken to the hospital where they remain in stable condition. It looks like the horse will also make a full recovery. The 84 year old driver of the van has been charged with careless driving.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Three children and their father were injured after a crash between a van and a horse and buggy in Zorra Township today.
Police say the van hit the rear of the buggy on Road 92 between 15th Line and 19th Line this morning. The kids are 2, 6, and 9 years old, the youngest children are boys and the oldest one is a girl. The driver of the van was an 84 year old man. One of the kids was ejected from the buggy.
The children and the father were taken to the hospital and all four are currently listed in stable condition. The horse was also injured in the crash. The horse has been bandaged up and walked back home by a neighbour.
