PERTH COUNTY - Perth OPP is investigating a hit and run early Monday evening in the Township of Perth East.
Police say that two vehicles collided around 5:00 pm on Line 33 and Road 107. Nobody was injured in the collision.
The suspect vehicle was parked on the shoulder facing the same direction as the victim. The victim reported that they came to a stop at the stop sign on Line 33 at Road 107, and when they started to accelerate through the intersection to make a turn, the suspect vehicle accelerated down the shoulder and started pulling into the live lane. The victim collided with the suspect vehicle, which subsequently fled the area.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver 4-door car. Police believe the suspect vehicle will have damage to the driver's side front door and wheel well area.
