The event on May 8th will raise funds for the Ingersoll and District Inter-Church.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Choral Society is about to close out another season with the Hope Blooms Spring Benefit concert.
It will be taking place at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church on Friday May 8th with a 7:00 p.m. start time.
Music Director Holly Langohr says it's a variety show with the perfect mix of uplifting music and fun songs.
"You'll hear a lot of familiar songs like a Muppet medley, a medley from The Secret Garden, a medley from the musical Oliver, and you'll even hear Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."
Admission is by donation to the Ingersoll and District Inter-Church. Langohr says says it's a great local cause that helps people facing food and financial insecurities.
"They work in collaboration with 10 different local churches. It's all community run and their main event is the Christmas hampers that they put on every year."
The show should last about an hour with no intermission, and Langohr recommends arriving sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. to get a seat.
Holly Langohr called the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Tuesday, April 21st. You can listen to the full interview below:
