A portion of all of the menu items sold at local McDonald's locations today will support Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario and the First Episode Mood and Anxiety Program (FEMAP) at London Health Sciences Centre.
WOODSTOCK - McDonald's locations in Oxford County and beyond will be packed today for McHappy Day.
A portion of all of the menu items sold locally will support Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario and the First Episode Mood and Anxiety Program (FEMAP) at London Health Sciences Centre.
A Ronald McDonald House provides families with a place to stay whenever a child in their family is receiving treatment in a hospital nearby. Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario supports two Ronald McDonald House locations, one in London and one in Windsor. It also supports the Ronald McDonald Family Room in the London Children's Hospital.
FEMAP is a program for young adults between the ages of 16 and 25 experiencing the onset of mood and anxiety disorders. The program is the first of its kind in Canada and it's funded by donors and research grants.
Heart FM will be live on location at the Dundas Street McDonald's in Woodstock during the lunch hour today to spread some McHappy Day cheer.
The Norwich Ave McDonald's location in Woodstock also has a packed schedule today with Santa Ron making an appearance from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Touchstone Farm on location from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and performances from Dance In Style Studio from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We have four McDonald's locations here in Oxford County; two in Woodstock, one in Ingersoll, and one in Tillsonburg. You can support Ronald McDonald House locations year-round by rounding up the price of your McDonald's order when you pay.
