Norwich Township and Blandford-Blenheim Township have both issued an open-air burn ban, prohibiting all recreational fires until further notice.
NORWICH/BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - You won't be able to have a campfire in Norwich or Blandford-Blenheim over the next few days.
Both townships have issued an open-air burn ban, prohibiting all recreational fires for the time being. They're also suspending all existing burn permits and they're not going to issue new ones.
This is all due to the hot and dry weather conditions we have been experiencing lately.
Tillsonburg and Zorra Township also issued open-air burn bans yesterday.
