Jaspreet Sandhu says she doesn't believe in making unrealistic promises, but wants to bring forth positive change.
WOODSTOCK - A mom and five-year resident of Woodstock is running for City Council.
Jaspreet Sandhu is a public servant and an active community member. She holds a spot with the Woodstock Hospital Board of Directors, Woodstock Fire Advisory Committee and Anti-Racism Advisory Committee with Woodstock Police. She also started the Good Human project in 2020 delivering essential items such as groceries and prescriptions to people stuck in their homes during COVID lockdowns.
Sandhu says she doesn't believe in making unrealistic promises, but wants to bring forth positive change and make the City safe and friendly for all families.
"Residents and taxpayers of Woodstock can rely on me to make the decisions that are not only better for the community, but keeping in mind the cost for the taxpayers as well."
Sandhu is holding a campaign kick off barbecue on September 10th so you can meet her family and ask questions.
The municipal election is scheduled for October 24.
