A game played by senior high school students leads to the Oxford OPP being called.
INGERSOLL - The Oxford OPP responded to a suspicious person call in Ingersoll.
This morning at 11 a.m., officers were made aware of the issue and began investigating. It was determined that the person was playing a game called Senior Assassin, which has senior high school students using water guns to eliminate other participants. At the time of the call, the public or police did not know it was a water gun, which caused concern. The Oxford OPP wants to remind participants that members of the public who are unfamiliar with the game may confuse a water gun with a real firearm and call the police.
No charges have been laid as a result of the call.
