The African Children's Choir will perform traditional African music and gospel favourites at Emmanuel Reformed Church this coming Friday.
WOODSTOCK - The African Children's Choir is set to come back to the Friendly City, for another performance at Emmanuel Reformed Church.
The choir consists of 19 African children between the ages of 8 and 10.
Tour Leader Keira Carnie tells Heart FM about the music they will be performing on Friday October 13th.
"You'll hear them sing traditional national African songs as well as old gospel favourites like This Little Light on Mine it's one of my favourites and as well modern contemporary worship songs."
The kids will also perform a traditional tribal dance and play the drums.
Carnie explains why the choir has been touring throughout North America over the past 33 years.
"The children who pass through our choir will have their education paid for until the end of university or college so it's quite changing for them. We also support thousand of other children's education across seven different African countries."
Two former choir members who have since graduated university will also be attending the Woodstock show. The free show will begin at 7pm.
