The 4th annual Runway of Stars will take place at Oxford Auditorium on October 4th and tickets are selling fast.
WOODSTOCK - Tickets are now on sale for the 4th annual Runway of Stars.
It's set to take place at the Oxford Auditorium on October 4th this year.
Co-Chair Dallas Van Dyk says people supported by Woodstock and District Developmental Services will walk the catwalk with some familiar faces.
"It's also a great way to showcase some of the wonderful stars we have in the community. Everything from firefighters, police officers, EMS, politicians, dentists, teachers, you name it!"
Heart FM's very own Dan Henry will also be participating this year.
The event raised just over $15,000 for WDDS last year. They're hoping to raise about $20,000 to $25,000 next month.
Van Dyk says the money will benefit their capital campaign and a new program that they have in the works.
"We are earmarking a portion of that towards adding technology services which will allow people supported by WDDS to access support virtually, which allows them to further create independence and manage their own support."
Tickets are $45 a person or $450 for a table of 10. You can buy them online here, in person at their 212 Bysham Park office or over the phone by calling 519-539-7447 with extension 221.
The tickets went on sale on August 23rd and they've already sold more than 60 percent.
