The SIU is investigating after a 39 year old woman was found dead in her home on Sunday.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - The Special Investigations Unit has been called in after 39 year old woman was found dead in her Zorra Township home.
An OPP officer had reached out to the woman last Friday, and asked her to turn herself in in regards to an ongoing investigation.
According to the SIU, the woman did not turn herself in so an officer visited the home once again Sunday morning. No one came to the door so the officer left.
Not too long afterwards, two people who knew the woman stopped by and found her body.

The Special Investigations Unit invokes their mandate whenever there is a circumstance involving police and civilians that has resulted in serious injury, death or allegations of sexual assault.
