The woman was transported to Woodstock Hospital after she was struck by a car at Beale and Dundas Street this morning.
WOODSTOCK - A woman from Woodstock is in hospital after she was hit by a car this morning.
Woodstock Police say the incident occurred just before 7:00 am at Beale and Dundas Street.
Police say she was walking west on Dundas Street when she was struck by a car travelling.
The 42-year-old woman was transferred to Woodstock Hospital where she suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police want to remind pedestrians to be aware of their surroundings, wear reflective clothing and use sidewalks if they're available, and they're not available, to walk in the opposite direction of traffic so you can see the vehicle coming.
The road has since been re-opened. No charges have been laid at this time.
