You have until December 15th to nominate a local family in need for a handmade Christmas dinner box, prepared by The Crew RC Riding Club and Unifor Local 636.
WOODSTOCK - Time is running out to nominate a local family in need for a handmade Christmas dinner box this holiday season.
The Crew RC Riding Club has teamed up with Unifor Local 636 to distribute 75 holiday meals. Nominations are being accepted until December 15th and they still have over half of their boxes ready to give away.
Crew RC President Gary Young says each box contains everything you need for a nice Christmas dinner.
"It's a complete meal, from the turkey right down to the dessert and including treats for your cats and dogs if you have one. We also have gift cards for the little kids, if you have a small kid under 15."
Young says each box should feed about four to six people and they'll be ready just in time for Christmas.
"December 18th is the delivery date. They can either pick them up at the Unifor Hall or we will deliver if you have no means of transportation."
The nomination forms are available at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County, Wellkin and the Women's Employment Resource Centre. Members of The Crew RC - Support Group on Facebook can also access the form online.
